Our Newark Farm projects would not be successful without the commitment of numerous volunteers rolling up their sleeves and digging in. Help our team care for plants that help our community flourish! SWAG Project in particular relies on people like YOU to operate and care for the community farm.

Volunteer hours during April-November are coordinated through our wonderful partner Jersey Cares website – we are listed under “Plant it Forward”

Please bring proper garden attire. This includes sneakers or boots (no sandals or flip-flops please); also pants, comfortable shirt preferably with sleeves (even in warmer weather), hat or head/neck covering. Bring your own sunblock and bug spray if you need it. We supply gloves and tools.
